Forests and the environment

Sri Lanka is a tropical country which has suitable climatic conditions for the trees to grow. It is considered as one of the biologically important hots spots. Due to its geography, we encounter different types of climatic conditions prevalent within the country. Therefore there is a quite high biodiversity in terms of not only flora but also fauna in Sri Lanka.
